Passerine Events

Birmingham, AL — Semi-Custom Branding & Web Design

Emma and I went to college together and let me tell you this: girl is all about a killer celebration. She wore a tutu at her own rehearsal dinner and that pretty much tells you all you need to know about the fun that she can bring to a party which makes her absolutely perfect at running a wedding planning business. After working in several more corporate event planning roles, she decided it was time to take the reins as her own boss. We dove into strategy together and chose a semi-custom brand from the shop that speaks to her organization and fun. The perfect balance.

Target Audience

Passerine’s dream client is young, modern couples that see the importance of investing in their big day. They care about their wedding, but they care about being with each other more, and are therefore willing to outsource the legwork of planning such a big event. They’re trusting and willing to lean into Emma’s expertise. Like Emma, her couples are honest, willing to ask for help, and ready to party.

Web Design and Development

We wanted Emma’s website to be clean and simple, making couples feel immediately less stressed out when they visit her site. Wedding planning is chaotic, and Emma exists to take that off her clients’ plates, instead, making them feel celebrated by creating time for them to be with their people. We used a soothing image of greenery of one of her weddings to create a welcome and relaxing atmosphere, serif typography to speak to the higher-end nature of her brides, and a clear, scrolling layout for ease of use.
